THE BOOMERANG
The Boomerang is not required with a Viking Anchor due to the anchors design characteristics.
What is a Boomerang?
A boomerang solves a very frustrating problem.
How often does your anchor come up to the bow roller upside down or back-to-front?
The Boomerang is designed to self-right the anchor as it is coming up, preventing damage to the bow, while also eliminating the need to manually twist the anchor the right way round.
Perfect for single-handing
How Does It Work?
It is suprisingly simple.
To install, connect the Boomerang at the end of your chain (8-10mm) on a shackle, with a few links between the Boomerang and the Anchor.
When the anchor comes up, the Boomerang goes over the Bow Roller first. Thanks to the shape of the Boomerang, the weight of the anchor will cause the Boomerang to twist the correct way.
Meaning your anchor comes up the right way, 100% of the time.
